French Castle

Friday has arrived and  we hope to have a lovely fall weekend on the east coast. Care to purchase a French Castle? Or at least look at one!
Set in the history-steeped region of Périgord Noir, the castle was originally built in the 13th century. A recent renovation added to the grand residence many leisurely amenities of contemporary living (tennis court, sauna, heated swimming pool), while the Gothic- and Renaissance-style architecture and decor (chimeras, foliated scrolls, mullioned windows) have been masterfully preserved.

There are 170 acres, the wooded grounds contain multiple guesthouses and suites as well as equestrian facilities.
The foundation of the structure hides a maze of underground rooms, including a billiards room, a cellar, and a lounge.
